National: The Beaumont Society The longest-established transgender support group in the UK. Founded in 1966, it provides a support network for the trans community. The society aims to promote understanding and acceptance of transgender issues, offering support to individuals and their families and advocating for dignity and respect for trans people in all aspects of life.
National: FFLAG a national voluntary organisation and charity dedicated to supporting families and their LGBT+ loved ones.
National: Gendered Intelligence - offers support to trans, non-binary and gender questioning young people, their friends and families and professionals involved with their care.

National: Mermaids - supports trans, non-binary and gender diverse children and young people, and their families. ​​

National: Pink Therapy - list of LGBTQ+ therapists. Personally I cannot emphasise enough the importance of finding a therapist who doesn't hold gender critical views. From experience, therapists may say they are supportive of trans people but in fact hold gender critical views. Be very clear and direct when seeking a counsellor. They must believe in affirmative therapy and understand what this means. Here's some useful information about gender affirming therapy and what traumas any therapist needs to be aware of when treating trans and non-binary or gender questioning people.
