IMPORTANT: If you, or someone you know is at immediate risk of harming themselves or others, please call 999. Don't leave an individual alone, if they are alone try to arrange someone to get to them, if you are alone reach out for help. Now.

This is the message I want to send out the loudest. If you are feeling acutely  suicidal or you are afraid someone you know is actively suicidal then intervention is needed now, not in the morning or next week. Now! If your suicidal thought are less intense, don't delay in seeking help. There is no right time. This is not something to be carried alone. Alice carried her fears alone. She struggled to share. I regret not getting more support from voluntary suicide prevention services for Alice.  I thought she was getting better, but in her last week she sent signs that she wasn't. And I ignored them.
